Celebrating Labor Day, Elite Technical
is grateful to the thousands of talented workers who have helped us prosper and
grow for more than a quarter-century. We couldn’t have done it without the
professionalism, skill and commitment of the talented individuals we place or
the recruiters, account managers and people who work behind the scenes to make
sure we deliver the outstanding service our clients expect.
Labor Day commemorates the social
and economic achievements of American workers, as well as their contributions
to the strength, prosperity and well-being of our country. First celebrated in
1894 and 1885 through municipal ordinances that were later followed by state
ordinances, Labor Day did not become a national holiday until 1909.
Just as the founders of the labor
movement understood the power of people, this Labor Day, we are especially
cognizant of the power in teamwork. Elite Technical workers are responsible for
the ability of our small, woman-owned enterprise to provide 400+ clients with
3000+ professionals over more than 25 years.
Without talented individuals
working in the context of a team, America would not have evolved and prospered
in a way that has made our nation truly exceptional. As we celebrate Labor Day
2018, Elite Technical encourages our own team members to take time out for
well-deserved rest, relaxation, recreation, and recognition.
Good News for Workers
Opportunities abound, especially for technical workers. With
the lowest unemployment
rate in a half century—according to Fortune
and CNN Money
headlines—companies across America are competing vigorously for the best and brightest talent. Elite Technical
recruiters will continue laboring to expertly match the best talent with the
best jobs in the nation. This is good news for workers.
We are grateful to be part of a
great country with network of businesses capable of offering opportunities for
people at all levels. And as we celebrate Labor Day 2018, we are thrilled that
opportunity continues to grow. In fact, the job market for technical workers is better
than ever—another reason to celebrate this Labor Day! As we posted in our Speed is the Best Talent Acquisition Strategy
blog, IT staff remains the second hardest professional group to
fill, outpaced only by skilled trades, such as electricians, carpenters,
welders, and plumbers. And, research shows that 76.7 percent of software developers
are already employed full time.
