We mark milestones - Elite Technical was featured in the Long Island Business News, Friday, March 25, 2022, to honor our business success over the previous 30 years. Given that studies show only about 50% of businesses with employees survive their fifth year in business, and only 30% survive their 10th year, we are proud of the progress our dedicated team has made in helping great companies succeed by matching them with outstanding technical talent for nearly three decades.

40 Under 40 honoree

In 1999, Joseph Monaco, Elite Technical's co-founder and visionary leader, was named among the first class of
40 Under 40 top business professionals on Long Island by Long Island Business News.


"Since 1998, Long Island Business News has taken nominations for outstanding members of the business community on Long Island who are 40 or under. These future leaders of Long Island have already begun to distinguish themselves in business, government, education and the not-for-profit sector. They have a proven track record of career success, are involved in mentoring and promoting their profession and find time to give back to their communities," according to a report in the Long Island Business News.

Today, Mr. Monaco serves as Elite Technical's SVP/COO.

Giving Long Island
job board a lift

In 1998, Joseph Monaco, then Elite Technical  co-founder and CEO, also had been named CEO of LIJobs.com, a young website featuring job opportunities. Mr. Monaco gave that job board a lift with a new look and business model. LIJobs.com had been a three-year-old job site backed by Invision.com Inc. Under Mr. Monaco's leadership, job seekers connected with employers who were able to post job openings for free. Read more about it here.
