Elite Technical is pleased to announce the promotion of Philip Mosca to Vice President, Delivery Operations. Mr. Mosca, previously served as Director of Enterprise Programs, for which he was responsible for business development and account growth.
In his new role, Mr. Mosca oversees talent delivery for all Federal and commercial sector accounts, ensuring excellent service for every client we serve. In addition to assigning requisitions to remote and corporate-based recruiters, he oversees performance and accountability of all Elite Technical recruiting teams, while also supporting sales operations, and directly serving a select group of clients.
Monitoring Trends
Given the ongoing pandemic, corporate commitments to slow the spread, and Covid-19 workplace policies, contract workers now have unprecedented ability to choose their work environment, said Mr. Mosca. And, temporary, contract and full-time staff have little desire to return to the office.
“Workers across a broad spectrum of industries are proving themselves capable of excelling in remote environments. They’ve also gained comfort with working from home and remote locations.
"In addition, the sheer number of remote workers today presents new challenges and solutions for managers. Now that folks have gotten comfortable working from home, we’ve seen the need to adapt management styles to effectively motivate and monitor home-based workers.
“The watchwords ‘employee engagement’ are highly relevant now. Staying connected with workers and keeping them connected to the business mission is paramount.
Eyes on the Future
“I believe employers soon will want their teams back in
the office, but they may face worker reluctance,” said Mr. Mosca.
"To entice people in-house again during the Covid-19 era, companies have already been offering hybrid (at home and in office) work schedules, while others are considering special incentives for workers to return.
“The good news is the post-shutdown staffing market is
strong again. At Elite Technical, our corporate and remote sales and recruiting
teams continue expanding.
And, our ongoing goal is to expand our customer footprint and continue providing value-added service," he noted.
"With new growth, and the sheer number of requisitions in play, I equate my role with that of an air-traffic controller. When it comes to prioritizing, we are
constantly focused on the flow of requisitions and making sure clients' needs are met promptly," Mr. Mosca added.
