PROBLEM:
FDIC sought to simplify contracting to improve infrastructure performance and service to FDIC employees, while also reducing administrative burden and accruing cost savings. The FDIC environment included over 12,000 users and 1,200 servers.

SOLUTION:
Unisys Federal Group provided IT staffing support on a 5-year, $300 million Infrastructure Support Services (ISS) contract at the FDIC. The contract involved consolidating a total of 36 labor- and service-based contracts into one contract vehicle.

From 2006 to 2014, Elite Technical helped Unisys staff 51 critical positions, including:

  • Project management
  • Client and help desk support
  • Data center operations
  • Systems administration
  • Security operations and support
  • Systems engineering
  • Mainframe support

OUTCOME:
Together, Unisys and Elite Technical met project goals.

The Unisys contract manager said:

“It is my great pleasure to recommend Elite Technical. I have been using Elite Technical for the past eight years and I have always been completely satisfied with their service. They do an excellent job in helping us find qualified candidates for hard-to-fill positions. I appreciate the thoroughness with which they prescreen candidates before presenting them to us. I am impressed that they have invested their time to learn the unique requirements of my business.”
